I love the taste of chili powder and/or lime combined with fruit. There is something about the contrast that drives me crazy in a good way of course.

We love pork ribs, going to try this recipe very soon and let you know how it goes.

Thank you all so much!

Foong--Definitely give this one a shot. It's not at all labor intensive and the results are super yummy.

Rich--Thanks so much! (And thanks for stopping by!) I'll definitely pass that along to my mom. She'll be very happy. :D

I'm planning on cooking a romantic meal for my wife...good food, candles, maybe some Miles Davis, kids at grandma's, that sort of thing. I might even wear a white shirt. I'm guessing I shouldn't cook these, right?

Your mum should be complimented on her very handsome jam. Please pass on my regards.

Dear Jessie!
Greetings!
Adding fruit or jam to pork is always a good bet!
The marriage of sweet and salty is just unbeatable (especially for you guys in America! LOL).
I remember putting jam or canned fruit on my meat when I was a kid!
Great posting!
Cheers,
Robert-Gilles
