Alright, Mouse. Out with it.
(The suspense has been killing you, we know.)

Don’t mind if I do!

The Hungry Mouse Presents A Holiday Feast

We are pleased as punch to announce our first cookbook! The Hungry Mouse Presents A Holiday Feast is a step-by-step manual for planning a complete holiday celebration, from appetizers to desserts and homemade gifts for your guests.

A Holiday Feast, Cover

What’s Inside the Book

The Hungry Mouse Presents A Holiday Feast is 70 pages, and features 21 mix-and-match holiday recipes for appetizers, soups & sides, entrees, and desserts designed to complement each other on a menu.

The clean, modern layout is packed with The Hungry Mouse’s signature, full-color, step-by-step pictures intended to inspire and instruct. (So you can see what “cook until brown” really means—and learn how to get that pesky cake out of its pan without wrecking it.)

Previously Unpublished Recipes

In addition to our all-time holiday favorites from The Hungry Mouse, the book also includes these five new, previously unpublished recipes:

  • Restaurant-Style Prime Rib (plus everything you need to know about shopping for a rib roast)
  • Baked Scrod with Buttery Herbed Bread Crumbs
  • Toasted Almond Ice Cream
  • Chocolate Fudge Cake
  • Apple Cider Cake with Cranberries and Walnuts

Here’s a peek at the table of contents.

  1. What a WONDERFUL SURPRISE!!! I'VE GOT TO HAVE MY COPY SOON... CAN'T WAIT... YAYYYYYY!!!! NO WORRIES FOR THE HOLIDAYS!! OUUUU....GIFTS...MY SISTER HAS TO HAVE ONE... CHECK YOU'RE TAKING CARE OF EVERYTHING!
  2. Congratulations! And what a fantastic idea to offer it as an e-book! More and more, I've been lugging my laptop to the kitchen to follow recipes I've saved; doing so allows me to also quickly look up things like conversions or substitutes. What a marvelous accomplishment and treat for us all!
    • Hey Rick! Alrighty. The e-book is a 6 meg PDF file. It will work on the iPhone, but we recommend using a PDF reader like Good Reader. I just tried it, and it works well. The native PDF reader that comes with your mail program won't handle it well. We're working on an iPhone app for The Hungry Mouse now, but don't have a release date for it yet. Cheers! +Jessie
  3. It all looks delicious and beautiful, as I knew it would! I'm going to start at the beginning and cook my way through. This is going to be wonderful for the holidays--all great, no fail meals from start to finish! Great Job, Miss Mouse!
