Man, it’s been a busy couple of weeks! Penelope the Puppy has been keeping us hopping (literally…she almost never sits still…), which is why we’ve been a little light on posts.

I finally managed to get a bunch of cooking done, so we’ll be back to our regular posting schedule this week.

Thanks so much to everyone who entered our Flowers in May giveaway! If you missed it, details are here. Flowers in May is run by the fabulous Emily Dumas, who is one of my favorite local artists.

So, to enter, we asked people to tell us their favorite thing about their kitchen. We got 73 entries. And the winner is…

*drumroll*

Comment number 69! Which means…

…that our winner is Ruth Swindle! Here’s what she had to say about her kitchen:

Congrats to Ruth! Ruth, please e-mail me your address and we’ll get your print shipped out asap.

Thanks so much to all who entered. Emily has kindly agreed to do another giveaway with us. Stay tuned for details on that soon. (Or, if you need a guaranteed fix, she’s got all sorts of fabulous goodies for sale in her online shop.

In the meantime, it’s back to the kitchen for me! Hope you’re all doing well and had a fabulous Fourth of July!
