In a Pig’s Eye—Great for burgers and stick-to-your ribs pub grub.
The Lobster Shanty—Good spot for people watching and beers on the patio.
The Old Spot—One of our favorite Salem pubs, located on Essex Street in Salem.
O’Neill’s Irish Pub—Another favorite Salem pub. Great place for traditional Irish music.
Rockafellas—Located in an old bank, their outdoor patio is one of the prime spots to people watch in Salem.

Alfalfa Farm Winery—This family-owned winery is located in Topsfield, and produces a variety of New England-style wines.
Cape Ann Brewing Company—Located in Gloucester. Home to Fisherman’s IPA, Bavarian Wheat, and Pumpkin Stout, among others.
Mercury Brewing Company—Home to Ipswich Ale and Mercury Soda, located in Ipswich, MA.
Russell Orchards—Located in Ipswich. Produces fruit wines and hard ciders.
Smuttynose Brewery—Located just north of the North Shore, in New Hampshire.

New England Mobile Bookfair—Home to the Jessica’s Biscuits cookbook catalog, this place is anything but mobile. It has one of the most extensive selections of cookbooks we’ve ever seen.

Eastern Bakers Supply Co., Inc—Located on the edge of the North End, open to the public. Great place for hard-to-find pans and molds. Only open during the week, closes at 4 pm.
