What’s the best thing about Easter?

The candy, right?

What’s the second best thing about Easter?

Playing with all that candy.

Check out two of our favorite Easter projects that are fun for the whole family.

One is a fanciful table decoration made with the smooshiest Easter candy of all time: Peeps.

The other is a homemade riff on classic Cadbury Creme eggs.

Peep Topiary

This thing is a legend at our house at this point. (Woman’s Day magazine featured it a few years back!)

Hands down, it’s the best way to use up all those marshmallow Peeps. It’s a ton of good, old-fashioned sugary fun.

You can make it with a small flower pot and a handful of cheap supplies you can find at your local craft store.

Homemade Cadbury Creme Eggs

This is my favorite copycat recipe of all time. They’re easy to make at home, and make a great afternoon project.

(Be prepared to get your paws covered in chocolate!)

This is a super delightful treat for the young—and the young at heart.
